What is a Dependent Care FSA?

A Dependent Care FSA allows participants to use pre-tax dollars to pay for eligible expenses related to care of a child, disabled spouse, elderly parent, or other dependent who is physically or mentally incapable of self-care. This plan is an option for employer and not a requirement. The Dependent Care FSA is governed under IRC Section 129
